Guidance Session With Dr Zakia

An hour to be listened to, and to consider what kind of support would help you most and what to do next.

Book your session (£150)
A quiet corner of a cosy room in soft morning light, with a table, notebook and cup of tea by a window

Who Is This For?

For Muslim women who are feeling low or anxious, or carrying things from childhood, family or cultural expectations, and aren't sure where to turn. Perhaps you'd like to talk to someone who understands both faith and everyday life, or you'd like help finding the right therapist.

What Happens?

  1. You book and pay.
  2. You answer a few short questions, sharing only what feels comfortable.
  3. You choose a time that suits you from the schedule link after booking.
  4. We meet for an hour by video, and afterwards I email you a short written summary with your next steps.

You do not need to have taken any of my courses. This session stands on its own.

What This Is And What It Isn't

I'm a GP with training in systemic family therapy. This is a single guidance coaching session. It isn't therapy, medical advice or a diagnosis and any follow-up afterwards is by email only.

Changing Or Cancelling Your session

Life happens, and I understand. You can reschedule or cancel for a full refund up to 72 hours before your session. Just reply to your confirmation email.

If you need to change it with less than 72 hours' notice, I'm not able to offer a refund, as the hour has been held for you. If something unexpected has happened, such as illness or an emergency, please tell me and I'll do my best to rearrange it once.

If you haven't joined within 15 minutes of the start time and I haven't heard from you, the session will be treated as taken and the fee isn't refundable. If I ever need to cancel, you'll be offered a new time or a full refund.

A Note About Logging In

After you pay, you'll receive an email with a login so that you can choose your time. It is only for your session, and you don't need to do anything else with it.
